Rich and Poor
When it comes to the issue of the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, I think the blogger of Coyote Blog says it all, and says it better than I could.

Big deal, of course most people in industrialize countries are better off than the people in the past. That seems odious to me. Now a good comparison is: how are his grandchildren are doing these days vs. the modern day family? I bet grandchildern have better health care and better material things than the modern day family.

Odious? Rich language vs. poor langauge. Like I have room to talk.
