On the Origin of the Human Mind

Indeed -- quite a fruit produced by the tree of knowledge of good and evil. I imagine one would immediately feel alone and, even if joined by someone else, as though you were thrown out of some most fantastic garden and into a great deal of hardship. Only, it was a much better deal in the long run, since our complexity makes for a much more interesting game.

Not overly relevant but there's an interesting article on bonobos in this month's Snithsonian. Apparentlt they're pretty smart.

I think we have a bridge here for myth and science. Truth and fact can get along or is this too a game played between two teams that never win.
