Quantum Golden Mean

It's fractals all the way down. Specifically, the golden mean ration has just been discovered at the quantum level. This ratio can be found throughout nature, and is common in our art and architecture as well. Part of the diaphysical nature of the universe, it seems.

I'm no quantum physicist, but this seems to me to be exciting news.

Certainly. It's exciting precisely because it demonstrates that the golden mean ratio is fundamental to the nature of the universe all the way down to the level of quantum physics.

Or it'll give one more group of scientists an excuse to annex a concept and claim that everyone else is using it in a superficial, metaphorical way. The interdisciplinarian's work is never done. *sigh*
